Mykonos is a glittering island in Greece. It has a reputation of being glamorous and expensive. It is easy to get to Mykonos. There are flights coming from Athens or you can take a ferry if you are coming from another island. One should book a ferry in advanced especially during the peak season. The town of Mykonos is where you can find several examples of great architecture. The town is filled with alleys and if you are not careful you might get lost. If you love shopping, you can find small shops selling all things that you can imagine.
A very special accommodation is waiting for you in Amsterdam. This is the Schuilkerkje, a former clandestine church in the eighteenth century, situated in a narrow street along the Amstel River, just off the Rembrandtplein.
This is not a cheap, however, but it sure is original. Built in 1751 as a clandestine Catholic church, it may look like an ordinary house from the outside. But inside, the chapel is converted into apartment houses, whose bed you can admire a fresco ceiling.
